What happens during a WOF inspection?
Our check follows the official NZTA requirement list, covering over 60 key safety points. We’ll check your lights, brakes, tyres (tread and condition), seatbelts, windscreen, wipers, mirrors, exhaust, structure (rust and damage), and all other essential safety systems.
After the check:
- Pass: You’ll receive your new WOF label and certificate, and you’re ready to drive with confidence.
- Fail: Don’t worry — we’ll provide a clear, itemised report explaining what needs repair. We can often do the work here, or you’re free to use your own mechanic. Once fixed, a re-check is quick and affordable.
